Revised Online Application Procedure for Police Criminal Record Certificates Effective July 21, 2026
Starting July 21, 2026, the online application procedure for Police Criminal Record Certificates will be revised.
Under the new procedure, applicants using the online service must complete identity verification through Taiwan's MyData Platform before submitting an application. The application will be officially accepted only after identity verification has been completed and the application fee has been paid online.
Applicants are advised to review the updated procedure before applying, as the online application requirements have changed from the previous process.
Please note that the online application service is available only to ROC nationals with household registration in Taiwan, as identity verification is conducted through the MyData Platform.
Beginning July 21, 2026, foreign nationals and ROC nationals without household registration in Taiwan will no longer be eligible for the online application service. If you need to apply for a Police Criminal Record Certificate, please submit your application in person at the Changhua County Police Department or any local police precinct.
