The Director-General of CHPD, Fang, Yeang-Ning came to Lukang Branch of Bank of Taiwan, Yongjing Post Office, and Dazhu Branch of Taiwan Cooperative Bank to award these financial institutions the certificates of appreciation and bonus for stopping the fraud.

Fang also reminded citizens to purchase epidemic prevention materials like face masks or forehead thermometers from physical stores or through the third party payment network. It’s easy to get scammed if citizens trade through the messages from Facebook.
